Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

AT Mechanical provides mobile vehicle air-conditioning services in Perth and Mandurah. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, make an enquiry, book a service or deal with us as a customer.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email [email protected].

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you contact us, request a quote or book a service. Depending on your enquiry or booking, this may include your name, phone number, service address, vehicle details and registration, appointment details, messages and service records.

Our website and service providers also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser or device information and the pages you request. Optional Google measurement is described below.

You can browse our service information without giving us your contact details. We need enough accurate information to contact you, check service availability and carry out a booking.

How we use and share information

We use customer information to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide services, prepare quotes and invoices, maintain service records, resolve issues and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.

We use service providers where needed to operate the business and website. These include GeoBooking for online bookings, Cloudflare for website hosting and security, and Google for optional website and advertising measurement. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law, or where you authorise it.

Online bookings

The booking form on our website is supplied by GeoBooking and is loaded from independentservice.com.au. GeoBooking has its own Privacy Policy for the booking service. Information entered into that form is processed by the booking service so your address, availability and booking can be handled.

The embedded booking service operates separately from our website’s Google measurement. Our cookie choice does not control the booking provider’s own technologies. Contact us if you have questions about the information used for your booking.

Cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads

Our website offers an Accept cookies or Reject cookies choice. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement loads after you accept. You can use the website and book a service whichever option you choose.

If you accept, Google may receive cookie identifiers, your IP address and browser or device information, pages visited, website and booking-form interactions, and a booking reference where a booking event supplies one. We use this information to understand website use and measure advertising results. The current cookie choice enables measurement, not personalised advertising.

Read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

We remember your cookie choice in your browser for 180 days. You can change it by clearing this website’s saved data in your browser and choosing again when the banner appears. Browser settings can also restrict cookies and storage. Clearing data may remove saved preferences, and restricting storage may affect third-party booking features.

Blog view counts

Our separate blog counter records article visits independently of optional Google measurement. To limit repeated counting, it uses a temporary coded identifier derived from your IP address and browser information. The counter database stores that identifier, not the raw IP address or browser information.

Individual counter receipts become eligible for cleanup after 48 hours; cleanup runs when subsequent visits are processed. Aggregate article totals are retained.

Storage and overseas providers

We use business records and the systems of our service providers to store and handle information. Providers such as Google and Cloudflare operate internationally, so information may be processed or stored outside Australia, including in the United States. Processing locations depend on the provider and service used.

We take reasonable steps to protect information against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy and applicable recordkeeping obligations, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information we no longer need.

Access, corrections and complaints

Email [email protected] to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy concern. Tell us what your request relates to without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing records.

We will review your request or complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If we cannot provide the requested access or correction, we will explain why. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for information about available complaint options.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version and its update date will be published on this page.
